Awaze appoints Carlie Wittred as Brand Growth Director
One of Europe’s largest holiday rentals providers, Awaze, has welcomed a brand growth director to the team.
In her new role, Carlie Wittred will be responsible for driving the transformation of Awaze’s much-loved brands across Europe, strengthening the Group’s market presence and supporting its next phase of growth.
Wittred will be charged with bringing together PR & Comms, partnerships, social, influencer marketing and creative to enhance how Awaze’s brands – including Hoseasons, Cottages.com and Novasol – connect with guests and owners across key European markets.
Awaze’s newest recruit joins from recipe box Gousto, where she was head of brand and communications.
During her eight years with the business, she played a central role in building brand awareness and driving commercial growth.
Prior to this, Carlie spent five years at global agencies Hill+Knowlton and FleishmanHillard, leading high-impact communication campaigns for global consumer brands.
Carlie’s appointment follows a period of strong performance for Awaze, with record guest numbers in August.
Awaze continues to build on this momentum, with occupancy up 4% in Q3 and customer satisfaction scores rising, underpinned by ongoing investment in technology, service and marketing.
The Group also saw record performance during Black Friday with bookings up 14% year-on-year.
