Global Revenue Forum 2024 announces AWS as opening keynote

AWS global segment leader for hospitality will address more than 1,000 hotel commercial and revenue leaders

The Global Revenue Forum announced Greg Land, global segment leader – accommodation, lodging, casino and cruise for Amazon Web Services, as the event's opening and keynote speaker.

Land will address more than 1,000 attendees across Europe, and more than 300 live in London, on Resilience and Innovation in hospitality in the year ahead.

The 2024 Global Revenue Forum will take place on January 30, 2024, simultaneously across five international cities – London, Stockholm, Milan, Paris and Lisbon.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn new strategies and solutions to help them adjust to today’s evolving market conditions and adapt to the future of hospitality before it arrives.

Ally Northfield, founder of Revenue by Design, which co-produces the event, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Greg Land as our keynote speaker for the upcoming 2024 Global Revenue Forum.

"AWS has played a significant role in expanding our industry’s access to revenue and commercial success, and Greg’s unique experience at the intersection of technology and hospitality makes him an invaluable resource for helping address and understand the challenges facing commercial leaders in the coming year.”

Land is an active board member on the HTNG Advisory Board and the Open Travel Alliance Board, and previously served on the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) and the WTTC global task force for Post-COVID Recovery Planning.

Land said: “I am honored to help launch the 2024 Global Revenue Forum, where experts, leaders, and innovators will join me in discussing ways to maintain industry resilience in the face of the unknown – and the role that technology can play.

"There is much focus on how quickly AI, machine learning and other technologies are accelerating the innovation around guest experience, employee experience and owner experience; all in the name of increasing revenue.

"As we approach the new year, revenue and commercial professionals are eager to adopt new strategies, share best practices and understand the technologies to support these. I look forward to joining this group of leaders.”
