AltoVita appoints new CTO as it aims for growth following Series A

The corporate accommodation platform brings in Ivan Peralta, former TravelPerk vice president of engineering

Corporate accommodation start-up AltoVita has appointed a new chief technology officer having recently completed a $9.5 million Series A investment. 

Ivan Peralta will bring 22 years’ of experience in corporate travel to the digital platform as the firm looks to build on its technological expertise to drive growth.

He will head up the technology function to “redefine the corporate accommodation landscape and deliver a delightful experience for enterprises and their employees globally”.

Previous roles included vice president of engineering at TravelPerk where he led a team of more than 150 engineers driving product innovation.

AltoVita, boasts a network of over one million properties in 165 countries across five continents and aims to increase that to 2.5 million by the end of next year. 

Peralta said: “Technology is the future of corporate accommodation, and we’ve seen a phenomenal uptake of smart solutions from TMCs to corporate hospitality operators in the last 12 months alone. 

“Our mission is to provide smart, safe, and sustainable corporate accommodation across the globe, and I’m excited to be part of the journey.”
