The Florida-based cruise comparison firm iCruiseApp Travel & Tours is launching a platform that brings professionals and travellers together in a single digital space.

Travellers can access the CruisVisor tool, which uses AI to analyse a visitor’s preferences and suggest the best cruise options.

Independent advisors have an app that brings everything into one place, with access to supplier offers, a client records tracking tool and a payments solution.

The platform orchestrates these tools to make transactions easier.

CruisVisor’s ‘cruise wizard’ gathers information and, drawing on supplier content, uses AI to propose suitable cruises from the commercial offers built on the platform.

CruisVisor provides the means to compare different products.

The tool also lets users call on a human advisor for help with a cruise, and with the entire trip too — flights, hotels, excursions or insurance.

The company frames this automation and AI-based approach as a way to give advisors more time to devote to clients.

“Travel is personal, and planning it should be too,” said Barrett Caudill, chief executive and co-founder of iCruiseApp Travel & Tours.

“We built technology that lets travelers explore with confidence, and gives advisors more time for what they do best: listening, planning and taking care of their clients.”

Unlike Major Go, for example, which presents itself as a tool for travel agencies, iCruiseApp is seeking to control both traveller acquisition and advisor tooling, with a promise to reduce fragmentation across journeys.

“We build our solution in-house, which means we can move quickly,” said Terry Caudill, chief technology officer and co-founder of iCruiseApp Travel & Tours.

“When our advisors and travelers tell us what would help, we can put it in their hands fast, and that’s a real advantage for a growing agency.”
