A ‘next generation’ business hotel booking solution covering more than 191,000 properties has been introduced by Egencia in Europe.
Special preferred rates are offered to users of Egencia Hotel which include additional services such as breakfast, Wi-Fi and free parking.
The Expedia business travel arm claims new configuration capabilities will help companies tailor the display to ‘subtly enforce’ travel programmes, resulting in more control on the spend for travel managers.
Hotel bookings made into the new interface are tracked through Egencia Traveller Tracking. Travel managers can use this information to track where their travellers are and quickly reach them.
This launch is part of a global programme to create a consistent hotel platform by providing easier access to content the group acquires across the globe.
Egencia Hotel will be launched in North America in the next few months.
