Apaleo appoints Connor Neeson to lead growth across the UK & Ireland
Apaleo, the API-first property management platform for hospitality businesses, has appointed Connor Neeson as Country Lead, UK & Ireland.
The move is expected to reinforce the firm's "long-term commitment" to expanding its presence across both markets.
Neeson joins Apaleo with more than 15 years of experience in hospitality technology, including serving as Market Director for the UK & Ireland at Triptease, alongside roles at Cloudbeds and CheKin.
Throughout his career, he has worked closely with hotel operators as they navigate digital transformation and the growing limitations of legacy systems, seeing first-hand how closed ecosystems, costly integrations and rigid property management systems can limit flexibility and hold back innovation.
As Country Lead, Neeson will play a central role in expanding Apaleo’s regional presence, strengthening relationships with customers, partners, and consultants, and helping hospitality businesses build the flexible technology foundations needed to support long-term growth.
Working closely with operators across the UK and Ireland he will help organisations - which include customers such as easyHotel, Mollie’s, and citizenM operated by Another Star and Valk Exclusief - move beyond legacy systems by adopting an open, API-first platform that enables seamless interoperability, unrestricted access to data, and the flexibility to integrate best-in-class technology as their businesses evolve.
Today, Apaleo operates in more than 30 countries, supporting over 2,200 properties and 100,000 units worldwide across hotels, vacation rentals, serviced apartments and residential living.
Florian Montag, senior vice president of Revenue at Apaleo, said: “Connor brings a strong understanding of hospitality technology and the challenges operators across the UK and Ireland are facing as they modernise their tech stacks.
"As momentum continues to build in both markets, his focus will be on expanding our regional presence, strengthening our local ecosystem, and helping more hospitality businesses understand the value of an open, platform-based approach that gives them the flexibility to adapt, scale and innovate with confidence.”
Neeson added: “I’m excited to join Apaleo at a time when hospitality businesses are under real pressure to modernise and become more adaptable. For too long, operators have been held back by rigid systems, costly integrations and technology choices that limit innovation.
"With AI changing what’s possible across hospitality, businesses need an open foundation that gives them the freedom to move faster, connect the right tools and stay ready for what’s next. The UK and Ireland are hugely important markets, and I’m looking forward to helping more operators build for long-term growth.”
