Club Med enlists TradeDoubler to help challenge online competition

Club Med has turned to digital marketing and technology firm TradeDoubler to manage and expand its affiliate marketing programme.

The appointment comes as luxury holiday brands are facing growing competition from online travel firms and continued pressure from global economic uncertainty.

A recent ‘future of luxury travel trends’ report by Horwarth concluded that ongoing worldwide political and economic instability over the next few years will continue to impact a recovering premium holiday sector, demanding robust partnerships between suppliers and their marketing partners.

The importance of digital marketing is expected to remain a major influence on the planning and booking of luxury holidays, according to TradeDoubler.
