A new application on British Airways’ Facebook page invites users to plans and share a perfect day in some of the carrier’s key destinations.
The Perfect Days app also allows BA staff and cabin crew to provide tips and insider knowledge.
Users can create an itinerary of things to do, see and experience in one day. They can also add a theme to their day, such as shopping, culture, dining and drinking or outdoors.
The app enables users to comment on, and ‘like’ other people’s itineraries and will include a number of featured itineraries for each destination, based on the numbers of likes they receive.
Destinations such as New York, London, the Caribbean, Madrid, Mumbai, Rio de Janeiro, Florida, Rome, Berlin, and San Francisco feature on the new app, with more to be added.
BA digital marketing innovation manager Richard Bowden said: “Perfect Days allows travellers to find new experiences and be inspired by others who are passionate about a destination and want to share their insider knowledge and travel tips.
“We look forward to receiving their feedback from this first version of the new app.”
