Camping and caravanning website pitchup.com has created benchmarking features to help holiday parks and campsites track click throughs to their own sites.
New features on the manager’s portal include popularity rankings, number of site visits and click through rates from pitchup.com profiles to their own sites versus the average.
Managing director Daniel Yates said: “In just seven months Pitchup.com has served more than 1.5m page impressions and generated more than 50,000 online leads, smashing travel industry benchmarks for user engagement.
“These new features offer a fantastic opportunity for holiday park owners and managers to maximise the number and relevance of the leads they receive.
“With UK online booking rates running at more than 30%, more and more holidaymakers are researching accommodation online and using the web as a route to purchase.
“The more holiday park owners improve their page, the more business will come their way this summer.”
The site has also unveiled a premium listing service which allows users to see the number of campsites in each location at a glance or browse directly to an individual campsite.
