Hoppa integrates Karhoo to extend transfers comparison website’s global reach

Transfers comparison website hoppa has struck a deal with global mobility platform Karhoo to extend its geographical reach and choice.

Hoppa enables travellers to search, book and compare deals for their rides and transfers by comparing thousands of providers from around the world.

Karhoo’s ground transportation marketplace has access to 1.8 million vehicles in 1,500 cities globally.

Renaldo Scheepers, chief executive, said: “The partnership with Karhoo allows us to offer our customers more options and greater flexibility and security with regulated rides and transfers in both new and existing locations.

“Our strength, which is our comparison engine, will be bolstered by Karhoo’s increased supply. The seamless integration with Karhoo continues our commitment to simplifying and smoothing our customers’ journeys from beginning to end, and ensuring they can find all their ground transportation in one place.”

Caroline Simmerman, Karhoo vice president business development, added: “We are very excited to work with hoppa to be able to supply their customers with choice and value for their first and last mile during their journey.

“This is a great example of how a market place, which Karhoo facilitates for taxis and private hire vehicles, functions fantastically in an environment where comparisons are made. By offering state-of-the-art technology this enables us to further enhance the customer experience to make it seamless and comfortable end to end.”
