Sean Seah returns to Langham Hospitality Group with top innovation role

He will be responsible for its strategy and technology as well

Langham Hospitality Group (LHG) has announced it has appointed Sean Seah as its new senior vice president - strategy, technology and innovation.

Seah, who previously worked for the group in 2009, will be based at the company’s global headquarters in Hong Kong and will report directly to the group's chief executive officer. Seah will also be part of the group's Executive Committee.

Previously Seah had been responsible for e-business, loyalty, and partner marketing while working for LHG.

The group believe, his previous background as well as experience gained from his senior leadership roles with Microsoft, HSBC, Air New Zealand as well as Travelocity means he has the "precise expertise needed to further the company’s growth and optimisation goals".

"We are excited to welcome Sean Seah back to Langham Hospitality Group as our Senior Vice President for Strategy, Technology and Innovation,” said Bob van den Oord, CEO of Langham Hospitality Group.

“His return marks a pivotal moment for the company as it prioritises strategic growth, which will in large part be driven by cutting edge digital solutions, data driven processes and operational efficiencies.”
