Vertical Systems enhances automated cruise offering

Improves efficiency and optimises workflow

Technology provider, Vertical Systems, has not only enhanced its automated cruise offering but also released its new booking download in partnership with Carnival Cruises.

The automation enhancement completes phase two of its partnership with Dreamlake to now ensure more cruise booking information automatically integrates with its specialist back-office Tarsc software.

The new enhancement has created efficiency improvements and helped optimise workflows for its customers. And it does not stop with Dreamlake.

In the same period Vertical Systems released its new Cruise booking download, partnering with Carnival to automate cruise bookings and itineraries for P&O, Cunard and Princess.

Vertical Systems will introduce the new functionality to its Vertical Travel Group homeworkers, Holiday Elite and Your Holiday Booking along and other customers this week.

Speaking about the Dreamlake integration, Lewis Johnston, Group E-Commerce Manager at Travel Village, said: “The Dreamlake handoff script that Vertical built, as part of our phase 2 development into Tarsc, has noticeably improved the efficiency of our after-sales process.

“It’s reduced the amount of manual input required from our customer service departments. This development brings us another step closer to a near seamless end-to-end ecommerce journey, which has always been one of our long-term goals. It’s great to see the progress we’ve made so far and the positive impact it’s already having day to day.”

Vertical Systems had previously launched other integrations offering booking retrievals for easyJet, Jet2, Gold Medal, Olympic Holidays and Marella cruises.
