France’s biggest travel agency group Marietton and Travelsoft launch Travel Explorer

Travel Explorer is now an exclusive platform for Marietton agents

France’s biggest travel group, Marietton, and travel technology group Travelsoft have announced the public launch of a joint venture called Travel Explorer.

Travel Explorer is a platform for the exclusive use of Marietton - a long-standing Travelsoft customer and owner of renowned brands such as Havas Voyages, Austral Lagon, Héliades and Voyamar - to offer all travel agents the opportunity to create "unique" experiences that will help customers in search of tailor-made trips.

Marietton staff using Travel Explorer gain access to a wide range of available content at a worldwide level including hotels and villa or apartment rentals, multi-modal transportation, car rentals, transfers, excursions and experiences.

They will be able to customise itineraries, change dates, add stopovers, with or without inspiration from destination specialists.

Work on the Travel Explorer venture started earlier this year and it already employs four full-time developers building a platform that combines technological innovation with human expertise.

Laurent Abitbol, president of Marietton Développement, said: "I'm proud that our technology division, Marietton Développement Group, has continued to innovate by working with Travelsoft to create this fantastic platform for the exclusive use of our travel agents. In addition to increasing the productivity of our travel agents, this solution will have the mission of developing the technology of all our in-house tour operators."

Christian Sabbagh, founder and CEO of Travelsoft, added: "This joint venture underlines our long-standing close relationship with the Marietton Développement Group and confirms our technological know-how placed at the service of Marietton staff selling to customers."
