Caribbean Connections hires for AO International for content deal
Brochure specialist AO International has developed a content management system for Caribbean Connections new website.
The technology will enable Caribbean Connections customers to pull information out of a database and compile their own e-brochures.
AO has also developed a dynamic PDF form system for Caribbean Connections hotel suppliers.
The form allows suppliers to enter all accommodation details and the information can be automatically incorporated into the content management system.
AO’s business development director Mike Dolan said the company’s technology was a step forward in that it was dynamically compiling information from the CMS.
“Lots of companies have made a PDF of their printed brochure available online but there the brochure is created on the fly. It’s a snapshot of the very latest information and is synchronised with what is on the website.”
AO is also working with British Airways Holidays to develop a dynamic packaging tool using BA flights scheduled to go live in June.
Dolan said AO was developing a multi-media asset library enabling the operator to manage different types of content including video and direct it to different distribution channels.
