Two companies plan to launch business travel assistants powered by agentic AI
Sabre-BizTrip partnership to equip business travel with AI solutions
Sabre Corporation and BizTrip AI have partnered to develop and market a suite of business travel assistants powered by agentic AI.
These assistants leverage natural language processing to handle complex booking workflows, real-time itinerary management, and intelligent travel policy automation.
The solutions target travel management companies (TMCs), airlines, and hotels.
The solution combines Sabre's agent APIs, its MCP server, and the SabreMosaic Travel Marketplace with BizTrip AI's proprietary Travel LLM and multi-agent architecture.
Hosted on Sabre's cloud infrastructure, the MCP gateways act as interpreters between travel systems and AI agents.
The goal is to move from simple suggestions to autonomous and governed actions, such as booking, rescheduling, or optimizing a trip, while respecting policies and operational constraints.
“The technical synergy between Sabre’s robust marketplace technology and our Travel Brain AI opens up unprecedented possibilities,” explained Scott Persinger, co-founder and CTO of BizTrip AI.
“The SabreMosaic platform and MCPs provide the scalable foundation we need to serve thousands of TMCs worldwide, while our agentic AI delivers the personalization and automation that today’s travelers and travel managers expect. This is enterprise AI at global scale.”
This approach addresses expectations for personalization, automation, and cost control in business travel.
According to the information provided, BizTrip AI's LLM continuously learns from booking patterns, company policies, and traveler preferences.
The architecture integrates specialized agents for planning, real-time assistance, expense management, and analytics.
Demonstrating its commitment to this approach, Sabre is supporting this merger with a minority investment in the startup BizTrip AI.
“Sabre’s mastery of travel, its pace of transformation, and its vast travel data cloud are fueling cutting-edge innovations for partners like BizTrip AI and their sophisticated agentic solutions,” said Garry Wiseman, chief product officer at Sabre.
“Furthermore, our minority stake reflects our belief in the transformative potential of agentic AI and our commitment to fostering innovation across the entire travel ecosystem.”
BizTrip AI indicates that its products are available in enterprise pilots now, with general availability targeted for the second quarter of 2026.
Interested TMCs, airlines, hoteliers and business travel managers are invited to contact BizTrip AI, while Sabre customers can contact their usual contacts regarding agentic AI capabilities.
