Ten airlines from across Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and the US have signed full-content agreements with global travel technology supplier Worldspan.


The addition of the ten marks another step in the company’s aggressive programme to sign up airlines in 2006 to its GDS and technology agreements.


The latest influx includes Air Moldova, Aegean Airlines, AeroSvit, Arkia Israeli Airlines, Eos Airlines, Transaero Airlines and VLM.


President for airline distribution and business development at Worldspan, Kevin Ficco, said: “These airlines are vital suppliers to travellers globally who arrange travel through Worldspan’s travel agency, e-commerce and corporate customers.

Worldspan currently supports around 65% coverage of internet’s online travel operations with its GDS operation.
