Radius becomes latest TMC to agree Travelport deal

Global travel management company Radius is the latest firm to enter into a partnership agreement with Travelport.

Global travel management company Radius is the latest firm to enter into a partnership agreement with Travelport.

Members of Radius Travel’s network include agencies such as Cox & Kings, Ctrip and Portman Travel.

As part of the agreement Travelport and Radius will work together to accelerate “mutual sales growth”.

Sandra McLeod, Travelport’s global vice president for global accounts and corporate sales, said: “This strategically positions both parties to expand global business together, and to provide our mutual corporate customers with advanced and unique solutions.”

As part of the agreement, Radius Travel members will have access to Travelport’s travel commerce solutions, including Travelport Smartpoint; Travelport Rich Content and Branding and its universal API.

“We’re committed to providing our clients with the richest content and highest level of service possible,” said Shannon Hyland, president and chief executive officer of Radius Travel.

“With Travelport as our global partner, combined with our members’ unparalleled access to the best local technology, we’re very confident in our ability to do so.”

Radius members will also be able to utilize Travelport Booking Feed; eNett Virtual Account Numbers and, Travelport’s exclusive hotel content offering.

Radius’ global hotel program offers access to rates at more than 39,000 properties across 135 countries.
