IDeaS appoints industry leader Michael McCartan to drive growth in EMEA

The former Duetto managing director comes in to build 'next-level' partnerships with relationships with clients

IDeaS Revenue Solutions has underlined its intention to drive growth in the EMEA region with the appointment of former Duetto managing director Michael McCartan.

He has joined the automated revenue management software and services supplier as area vice president for the region.

IDeaS said McCartan will “drive the company’s growth and expansion in one of the hotel industry’s most strategic regions”.

McCartan brig more than two decades’ experience to the role working with thousands of hotels, owners, and brands generate more revenue and improve profitability via the adoption of pricing automation and AI. 

In his hotel and travel technology career, he has held executive-level roles across a diverse set of industry segments applying pricing automation and AI in product management, business development, solution engineering, professional services, and consulting in large and well-known companies as well as early-stage start-ups.

IDeaS said the appointment “further amplifies unprecedented growth” which McCartan will further accelerate as the firm “demonstrates its commitment to a best-in-class client journey”.

As well as leading the EMEA business McCartan will also represent IDeaS as a thought leader and speaker at industry events.
