ECTAA and Travel Ledger join forces
ECTAA, the European Travel Agents’ and Tour Operators’ Association, is partnering with Travel Ledger, a provider of automated B2B settlement solutions for the travel sector.
According to the announcement, the collaboration seeks to ‘accelerate the adoption of secure, efficient, and digital payment strategies among travel agents and tour operators across Europe’.
This initiative underscores both organisations’ commitment to driving digital transformation in the industry, reducing costs, and mitigating risks tied to traditional payment and settlement processes.
Travel Ledger’s automated settlement platform streamlines accounts receivable and payable, eliminates manual reconciliation, and enables instant, cost-effective transactions for travel businesses.
The partnership will engage national travel associations and industry stakeholders to promote best practices and facilitate the transition to modern payment solutions.
Eric Drésin, Secretary General of ECTAA, said: “Modernising payment processes is crucial for efficiency and financial resilience. This cooperation will deliver tangible benefits and practical solutions to our members across Europe.”
Roberto Da Re, CEO and Founder of Travel Ledger, added: “Partnering with ECTAA allows us to further our mission to simplify and secure B2B settlements, helping travel businesses, along the entire supply chain, manage all type of payments more effectively.”
The cooperation will feature joint communications, educational webinars, and opportunities to showcase case studies and innovations at industry events, including upcoming ECTAA summits.
Both organisations aim to build awareness and foster adoption of digital settlement technologies for a more resilient and future-ready travel ecosystem.
