Best Western Hotels & Resorts and Tripadvisor have unveiled 'Go for the Goal', an AI-powered planning tool designed to assist fans in organising multi-city itineraries in anticipation of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America.

It leverages Tripadvisor data and traveller preferences to generate seamless itineraries from one city to another. It prioritises convenience and availability while covering the entire BWH Hotels portfolio, from upscale WorldHotels to budget-friendly options such as SureStay. In addition to accommodation, the tool offers suggested routes between matches and curated recommendations of restaurants, cultural landmarks and fan-friendly experiences. The itinerary is designed to be flexible in case of changes to travel plans, using AI to suggest nearby alternatives without requiring complete reconstruction of the route.
Go for the Goal must address the specific challenges of an event like this edition of the World Cup, hosted across three countries, which can lead fans to follow their team thousands of kilometers depending on the results. This is the first time in the competition's history that three countries have been chosen as hosts. These circumstances make organizing a trip particularly complex for football enthusiasts.
