ReFly Group Ltd is closing a €10 million Series A funding round led by Investa Partners, a Geneva-based investment firm that connects growth companies with investors.
The raise follows a €2 million seed round at launch, bringing the start-up’s total funding to €12 million.
Founded in early 2024 and based in London, the start-up focuses on airline passenger compensation.
ReFly helps travellers file claims in cases of delays, cancellations or flight disruptions.
In less than two years of operation, the company says it processes claims for 200,000 passengers a month and positions itself as one of the leaders in its segment. It now employs 140 people.
ReFly does not limit its scope to compensation. The start-up is developing two additional verticals in parallel: ReFly Prime, a subscription-based traveller benefits programme, and ReFly Booking, a forthcoming platform for booking flights and hotels.
The stated ambition is an integrated digital ecosystem that spans the entire traveller journey, from a flight incident to planning the next trip.
This positioning reflects a broader trend in the travel industry: tech players born around a single service diversifying into wider offers, echoing what is seen in online distribution and mobility super-apps.
ReFly aims to retain its user base beyond the moment of disruption.
“This partnership with Investa Partners represents an important step in the development of ReFly. It will strengthen our access to international investors and support our ambition to build a leading travel technology platform on a global scale,” said Mohamed Eiweada, founder of ReFly.
The funds raised will be allocated to several priorities: accelerating automation and digital platform development, strengthening operations and customer acquisition across international markets, ramping up marketing and communications, expanding the network of legal partners, and supporting the growth of ReFly Prime alongside the launch of ReFly Booking.
