Booking.com added to Travelport booking engine

Travelport has added leading global hotel website Booking.com to its Rooms and More booking engine.

Booking.com joins other content aggregators Agoda, Expedia-owned Hotels.com and Tui Travel’s LateRooms on the portal.

The addition means that Rooms and More now offers an additional 115,000 hotel and holiday property offers, taking the total to 675,000. Travelport plans to add a further 65,000 later this year.

Rooms and More is available to travel agencies in 70 countries and is available in six languages having been rolled out since July 2011.

Niklas Andreen, global vice-president hospitality and partner marketing at Travelport, said:

“Booking.com is a key player in the European online hotel booking business. We are therefore delighted to be including them in our Travelport Rooms and More hotel booking engine.”

Dennis van Noord, Booking.com spokesperson, said: “We are pleased with our partnership with Rooms and More and being part of their commitment in meeting customers’ needs.

“With highly competitive hotel rates, a vast choice of properties and the flexibility to make last minute reservations, we believe our partnership will deliver great value.”
