Cyprus Airways inks parking deal with ParkVia

European airport parking retailer ParkVia has added Cyprus’ flag carrier Cyprus Airways to its portfolio.

According to the airline, “with a long-term goal to cultivate tourism by building a strong, reliable national airline, Cyprus Airways has outlined its commitment to enhancing the passenger travel experience by collaborating with ParkVia to offer its customers online parking reservations.”

Powered through the micro-site, the new platform will allow users to search, browse and book parking alongside their flights at a number of popular destinations worldwide, such as Prague, Verona, Zurich and Athens.

Alongside the dynamic pre and post-booking touchpoints, customers will be able to compare individual car park features, prices and consumer reviews via the platform’s intuitive search engine capabilities.

ParkVia’s development and marketing of online channels to boost the visibility and reach of its partners’ parking offers enables ease of access for a global network of customers looking for a fast yet intelligent booking service, said the company.

Kiki Haida, public relations and marketing manager at Cyprus Airways, said: “As we continue to evolve our passenger services, collaborating with like-minded partners such as ParkVia enables the airline to maximise opportunities for growth and opens up a new stream of distribution channels.

“The newly developed platform dovetails seamlessly with all our key locations, matching drivers to a parking option that suits their individual travel requirements, allowing further personalisation of the overall travel experience for our passengers.”
