Czech Republic-based OTA Kiwi.com is to connect to the Travelport travel commerce platform to access fares from 400 airlines.
The company, previously known as Skypicker, uses a unique combination algorithm that allows users to combine flights from multiple airlines into a single itinerary, often resulting in significant air fare savings.
The deal with Travelport is designed to enable Kiwi.com to offer customers more choice and flexibility.
Chief executive Oliver Dlouhý said: “Our partnership with Travelport is an exciting new development. It provides us with a fantastic opportunity to inspire travellers to choose new destinations at a lower price on even more airlines.”
Travelport eastern Europe managing director Gavin Teale added: “We are thrilled to have signed this agreement with Kiwi.com, a genuinely innovative online travel business offering its customers a unique way to book air travel.
“Travelport is able to offer Kiwi.com the broadest content possible and ground-breaking technology to open up new opportunities for its business.”
