Kazakhstan carrier Air Astana has signed up to Travelport’s rich content and branding platform as part of a renewed distribution contract.
This will enable the airline to better promote its full offering to Travelport-connected agents and allow them to access full information on the its branded fares and ancillaries.
More than 180 airlines are now live with the solution.
Travelport air commerce commercial director David Gomes said: “We’re really pleased to have announced this renewal agreement with Air Astana.
“Not only do travel agents using Travelport continue to have guaranteed access to the airlines’ published inventory, but the fact that the airline has now also signed up to rich content and branding means they will be better equipped to fully understand the airline’s entire offering including its ancillaries and optional extras.”
