Lastminute.com vice president of distribution Vic Darvey is to leave the business at the end of the year.

In a statement, the company said Darvey is leaving to work in online financial trading.

A Lastminute.com spokesman said: “We wish Vic the very best in his new role and also wanted to thank him for his amazing contribution and for developing strong leaders who are already in place to continue his good work.”

Darvey will not be replaced at the online travel agency. His team within the Distribution EMEA organisation will be absorbed into existing areas of the European business.

Affiliates will be moving to Mark Newton’s European Marketing team; Whitelabels will be moving to the B2C organisation under VP Patrick Hoffstetter; and business and new market development will be moving to VP Arnaldo Munoz.
