Boatscribe secures fix-figure investment from EOS Yacht Charter

Yacht rental platform aims to make yachting mainstream

Yacht rental marketplace Boatscribe has raised a six-figure investment as it bids to make yachting a mainstream and accessible travel experience.

The metasearch platform has secured the funding from family-owned fleet operator EOS Yacht Charter and hopes to use the investment to open the yacht charter market to millions.

“Within the next three years, our goal is to be the company that turns the yacht charter industry upside down,” said Illia Kolomoiskyi, co-founder and chief executive of Boatscribe.

“We want to bring an entirely new, active, and high-spending audience into yachting — and serve as the bridge between travellers and charter partners worldwide.”

The company was created by tech entrepreneurs and skippers Kolomoiskyi and Kyrylo Soliar, who aim to simplify yacht rentals and integrate them into the wider travel planning process.

Boatscribe plans partnerships with major global travel platforms such as Tripadvisor, Google Things To Do, and lastminute.com.

In addition to scaling its search platform, part of the investment will fund the development of an AI-powered yacht travel assistant.

On the consumer side, it will deliver personalised yacht and destination recommendations based on hundreds of traveller preferences.

Boatscribe says its artificial intelligence will equip charter companies and online brokers with automation tools to eliminate repetitive tasks in sales and support, boosting efficiency across the industry.
