Wix launches new digital platform for hotels following HotelRunner integration

A beta version of the new Wix Hotels solution has been launched in English ahead of a gradual rollout 

Wix has launched a beta version of a new website builder and online presence platform for the hospitality industry. 

The New York-based Software-as-a-Service technology specialist has teamed up with HotelRunner to integrate its suite of travel technology for the new Wix Hotels.

A gradual beta rollout has started in English language initially before being extended out to other languages. 

Existing users of the Wix Hotels will move to the new solution after the beta test period.  

The firm said the new platform is a “major improvement to the existing solution and includes a full suite of professional tools for every touchpoint needed to launch, manage, and grow a hospitality business of any size and maximise revenue.

Users of Wix Hotels can create a website, manage their property, guests, bookings, and sales channels from a single platform. 

The platform connects to leading online sales channels and travel agencies such as Booking.com, Expedia, Hotelbeds, and Airbnb.

It also facilitates direct reservations and secure payments from property owners’ websites and the ability to manage rates and availability with real-time inventory updates on all sales channels.

Users can also use it to manage front desk operations, including check-in and outs, as well as policies and taxes, to offer extras, promotions, deals, and coupons, engage with guests, and promote their property on sales channels via the channel manager
