S4BT launches Trevium: a unified financial infrastructure for business travel
The technology group S4BT has announced the launch of Trevium, a unified financial infrastructure for business travel. It is available by default to the group's clients and is designed to automate payments, invoicing, VAT and reporting.
Solution For Business Travel (S4BT) unveils Trevium, a next-generation financial solution dedicated to business travel. The tool aims to replace legacy and disconnected systems with a single infrastructure covering all financial operations related to business travel. Designed for travel agencies, corporate clients and hotels, Trevium centralises and automates payments, invoice capture, validation and reconciliation, as well as VAT recovery and reporting.
Thanks to its modular and API-first architecture, Trevium can be integrated with leading market solutions and existing payment providers. The platform orchestrates automated data flows and controls, including AI-powered invoice capture and classification, followed by cross-validation with bookings, traveller profiles, internal policies and negotiated rates. All existing customers of any S4BT entity (CDS, Goelett, CRC, TMS, SIAP or Methodica) have access to Trevium by default, without the need for additional registration or contract changes, enabling them to deploy it within their organisation immediately.
“We’ve heard time and again from clients of all sizes and geographies about the challenges they face managing payments and finances, and have decided to solve this problem for them once and for all. As such, Trevium was founded on a simple conviction: when you manage such volumes of travel flows, mastering the flows becomes the quiet force behind transformation — because the one who controls the flows ultimately shapes the future of business travel.” says Ziad Minkara, CEO and founder of S4BT.
By standardising processes, Trevium promises to reduce manual data entry and improve data quality, thereby enhancing productivity and internal control. The solution also strengthens compliance by supporting VAT recovery in all European jurisdictions and providing better visibility into travel expenses, which is a key issue for finance departments.
Furthermore, the native integration of sustainability data into the financial flow enables CO₂ emissions to be measured and reported with a level of accuracy that is compatible with corporate social responsibility (CSR) requirements and European regulations. In a context where the financial foundation of business travel remains heterogeneous and often relies on historical tools, S4BT is banking on a unified platform to simplify the value chain, streamline relationships between companies, agencies, and hotels, and support better cost and risk control.
