Rough Guides is enabling consumers to access its content via travel applications on the Vodafone 360 Apps Shop.

Each guide offers background information on each destination, a round-up of the best places to eat, drink and shop as well as what not to miss.

The guides cost 49p each and also include images to give travellers a taste of the destination.

Rough Guide has made 50 travel guide apps available with the launch of the Vodafone 360 Samsung H1 phone with plans for a further 150 destinations in the coming weeks. The guides will also be available on other handsets including the Vodafone 360 Samsung M1 and a range of Nokia Symbian smartphones.
