Lévy brings more than two decades of experience in indirect procurement and the MICE sector
Navan appoints Sandra Lévy as Head of Travel Advisory and Community in France
Navan has appointed Sandra Lévy as Head of Travel Advisory and Community, France, as it looks to deepen its footprint in the country. Well known across the business travel ecosystem, she will structure client advisory and convene a community of travel and procurement decision-makers. The company points to her hands-on experience and strong roots in the French market to accelerate projects with large enterprises and mid-sized firms.
“In a market defined by global enterprises and intricate multi-modal travel needs, you need leaders who have navigated these complexities firsthand,” said Zahir Abdelouhab, Senior Vice President, EMEA, Navan. “Sandra is widely recognized as one of the most influential experts in the French market. Her reputation for driving collective progress and her deep-rooted leadership within the industry will be a tremendous asset for Navan and our customers.”
Lévy brings more than two decades of experience in indirect procurement and the MICE sector. At METRO France, she oversaw an annual budget of €500 million and led complex tenders spanning the business travel chain — from TMCs to air and rail — as well as fleet management and large-scale events. She also sat on the board of the AFTM (Association Française du Travel Management) between 2020 and 2023, combining procurement expertise with a user-centred approach to innovation and CSR.
“Having spent years as a buyer, I’ve seen how difficult it can be to bridge the gap between enterprise expectations and the actual traveler experience. I joined Navan because it is the only company truly disrupting that model through its AI-powered technology and a clear founding mission, to make travel easy for every frequent traveler,” said Sandra. “Navan is moving the needle on critical innovations like NDC and augmented AI customer support, turning them into real strategic advantages for French multinationals. I’m excited to collaborate with travel experts from across the country and build a strong network of innovative thinkers in our sector”.
The appointment comes as French companies look to balance employee experience, cost control and compliance. According to Navan, organisations are seeking platforms that unify booking, 24/7 assistance and expense management while automating checks. The firm positions itself in this space with an offer that covers flights, hotels and spend, and says it delivers a seamless experience for travellers and finance teams alike.
