Katanox and Selfbook sign strategic partnership

Pair to power AI-driven hospitality commerce

The hospitality industry’s financial infrastructure for direct distribution and payments, Katanox, has formed a partnership with AI-native booking and payments platform, Selfbook.

The collaboration is designed to unify how hotels manage bookings, payments and settlements in an increasingly agentic world.

By combining Selfbook’s modern payment and booking experience with Katanox’s real-time financial and distribution infrastructure, the two companies are creating a more connected and reliable foundation for hotels, travelers, and travel sellers.

This partnership expands Selfbook’s reach and operational strength by connecting its ecosystem directly into Katanox’s financial and distribution backbone — enabling seamless account-to-account payments, real-time reconciliation, and direct hotel connectivity across channels.

Katanox’s rails work alongside Selfbook’s existing payment partners, adding complementary financial connectivity that strengthens the end-to-end booking and settlement journey for hotels and travelers.

Together, the pair ensure that ‘every step — from reservation to payment and settlement — moves through a unified, structured, and transparent process’.

This alignment is especially important as Selfbook scales the DDN and accelerates into AI-powered distribution through partnerships with platforms, such as Perplexity and PayPal, where predictable, real-time infrastructure is essential for autonomous booking flows.

“Selfbook is transforming how travellers’ book and pay for hotels,” said Paul Beukers, Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer at Katanox.

“By pairing Selfbook’s intuitive guest experience and expanding the DDN footprint with Katanox’s real-time financial backbone, we’re creating the next generation of connected hospitality commerce.”

Early adopters of the functionality include global hotel groups such as Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.

Selfbook’s DDN connects hotels to high-value distribution partners — including major digital wallets, AI search platforms, premium card programs, and curated membership networks — while delivering an elegant, e-commerce–style checkout experience.

Through this integration with Katanox’s infrastructure, that front-end simplicity now links directly into a harmonized financial layer that verifies, moves, and reconciles money with consistency and speed.

“Katanox shares our vision for intelligent, connected hospitality,” said Khalid Meniri, Co-Founder and CEO of Selfbook. “By integrating our booking and payment experience with Katanox’s infrastructure — and working with leading AI innovators — we’re building the financial and distribution foundation needed for the autonomous future of hotel commerce.”
