Emerging Travel Group integrates Meliá’s nine brands

Direct link adds 400 Meliá hotels

Emerging Travel Group (ETG), which operates the RateHawk, ZenHotels and Roundtrip brands, has sealed a direct integration with Meliá Hotels International, one of Europe’s largest hotel groups. The agreement immediately expands ETG’s inventory by more than 400 properties across 40 countries, including Spain, Italy, France, the United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Vietnam and the Dominican Republic. In all, nine Meliá brands join ETG’s portfolio. The partnership also broadens Meliá’s reach via RateHawk, ETG’s B2B platform that brings together nearly 120,000 agents, tour operators and API partners across 190 source markets.

The connection is delivered via Meliá’s direct API. It provides real-time availability and rates, faster and more reliable booking flows, more flexible payment options, marketing tools and enhanced support. For Meliá, distribution gains greater control and operational efficiency.

“For Meliá Hotels International, this partnership with Emerging Travel Group is an important step in our strategy to strengthen global distribution through high-performing technology partners. The direct connection will enable us to offer thousands of travel professionals faster and more competitive access to our brands, reinforcing our presence in key markets,” commented Natalia Paszkowska, Senior Account Manager, Global Account Lead for ETG at Meliá Hotels International.

For ETG, partner agencies gain access to premium content that is refreshed more quickly, alongside optimised confirmation processes. Beneficiaries include retail distributors, tour operators and API-based technical integrations, which can further automate updates to inventory and conditions.

“The direct integration of Meliá’s diverse portfolio expands the range of top-quality accommodation options available to our B2B partners worldwide. For agents who serve high-value travelers seeking premium stays, elevated service standards, and distinctive experiences, access to such offerings is essential. Direct connectivity with Meliá’s hotel portfolio enables travel agents to better meet these expectations, while also driving strong demand from high-net-worth travelers,” added Victoria Shamshurova, Managing Director for Wholesaler Business Unit at Emerging Travel Group.

This move forms part of ETG’s strategy, active since 2023, to expand direct supply connections: the number of directly connected properties has risen by 40% in a year, surpassing 250,000 listings, out of a total of more than 3.2 million accommodation options available via direct connections and more than 350 suppliers.

ETG also cites recent operating milestones: a gross transaction value of $4.8 billion in 2025 and more than 40,000 bookings made daily across its platforms. Founded in 2010 and based in the United Arab Emirates, the group operates in more than 190 source markets and employs over 3,900 people across multiple regions.
