Autonomous Onboarding gives hotel properties a way to choose Expedia Group as a distribution channel, accept terms, transfer data automatically and complete centralised validation at speed.
Within their existing connectivity software, property managers select Expedia Group as a channel, review and accept the agreement, and connect without a separate onboarding flow.
The system then pulls available data from the property’s current software.
Once validated by Expedia Group, the listing goes live across the relevant channels.
Expedia Group says the aim is to minimise manual tasks and duplicate data entry for operators.
Previously, adding a new booking platform meant creating or completing a partner account and requesting a fresh API integration.
It also meant re‑entering rooms, rates, availability and photos, and arranging connection tests with Expedia.
“Adding a new source of demand should not add a new layer of work,” said Chris Hodges, vice-president, global connectivity & partner solutions, Expedia Group.
“Autonomous Onboarding makes it much easier for properties to join Expedia Group through the technology they already use. It is an important first step in our broader vision for AUTONOMOUS DISTRIBUTION, where partners can spend less time on manual processes and more time growing their business.”
Expedia Group reports more than one billion average monthly searches in 2025 and more than 415 million booked room nights.
