The shortlists for 29 of this year’s 33 Travolution Awards categories have been revealed.
Travolution's annual celebration of achievement is one of the largest in the travel technology and digital sector in the UK, with more than 450 attending last year's event.
Hundreds of entries submitted have been whittled down to shortlists ahead of the big night, which will be on 26 November this year taking place at City Central at the HAC.
Mastercard returns once again as Headline Sponsor, for the firth year, with its well-established award category, Mastercard B2B Payments Award.
This award will be handed out on the night to the company considered to have done the most for payment innovation, whether that be a strategy, product or solution no more than two years old.
New sponsors this year include Dragonpass and loveholidays while Gail Kenny Executive Recruitment, HolidayPirates, HotelRunner, Trip.com and WEX all return as sponsors of the event.
Some of the Special Awards have been announced so far, including Rising Brand of the Year, Rising Star of the Year, Start-up of the Year, and Brand of the Year.
Many others, in particular the Travolution Achievement Award, will be judged and announced separately.
Kate Harden-England, editor of Travolution, said: “This year was a genuine joy to judge the endless number of entries with my fantastic cohort of judges.
"Standards of supporting evidentiary data were incredibly high this year which makes a very difficult job for the judges, far easier.
"A lot of awards were fiercely contested as entries continue to push the boundary of what is possible, again just forever proving that the sector truly puts its customers first and many were very close because of this but alas, there can only be one winner on the night.
“Congratulations to all those companies that have made this year's stacked shortlists. That in itself should be celebrated due to the fact hundreds of individuals and companies apply each year.
"I look forward to welcoming you all in November to see who are the worthy ones that lift trophies on the night.”
