Numeum, the French digital industry association, unveiled in Paris its 16th annual Top 250 barometer of French software publishers, co-produced with EY.
The event also recognised Travelsoft, a specialist in SaaS software for the tourism and traveltech industry.
Christian Sabbagh, founder and chief executive of Travelsoft, received the innovation prize from Didier Collignon, Europe West EMEIA leader at EY.
Didier Collignon set out the criteria that guided the jury’s decision.
“Innovation that brings value to software publishers must meet three conditions. The first is an innovation that truly solves a business problem, not a tech problem,” he said.
“The second is the ability to scale (...).”
“And the third is probably having a business model. Having an idea is good, but an idea that makes money is better.”
Three other trophies were awarded: Nadim Baklouti received the international development prize for DiliTrust, Septeo was recognised with the external growth prize, and Ennov took the jury prize at the end of the evening.
