Amadeus has reported continued revenue and profit growth for the first nine months of 2026, while stepping up its AI strategy through new partnerships with technology leaders Anthropic and Nvidia.
The travel technology group said revenue increased by 5.2% at constant currency to €5.08 billion for the nine months ended September 30, 2026, with adjusted EBIT rising 5.5% to €1.55 billion.
In the third quarter alone, group revenue grew 5.5% at constant currency, while adjusted diluted earnings per share increased 11.8%.
The performance came despite ongoing geopolitical disruption in the Middle East, which affected global air traffic and booking growth.
Amadeus president and chief executive, Luis Maroto, said the results demonstrated the resilience of the business, alongside continued commercial momentum and strong cash generation.
He said the company had also made significant progress in its strategy through collaborations with technology partners including Anthropic and Nvidia.
"The combination of the strong customer adoption of our solutions and these partnerships reinforces Amadeus' role as the embedded and neutral execution layer for travel and helps position us strongly to orchestrate the AI-enabled travel ecosystem," he said.
Maroto added that Amadeus remained on track to deliver its 2026 outlook, although it expected to come in towards the lower end of its guidance range because of the impact of the Middle East situation.
Across its business divisions, Hospitality and Other Solutions delivered the strongest revenue growth, increasing 9.2% at constant currency over the nine-month period.
The division benefited from new customer implementations and higher transaction volumes across its hospitality and payments businesses, alongside continued progress with large Amadeus Central Reservation System (ACRS) customer implementations.
Air IT Solutions revenue increased 7.7% at constant currency, supported by additional solutions adopted by customers, including revenues from Nevio implementations, as well as growth in Airport IT and Professional Services.
Passengers boarded increased 1.3% to 1.71 billion during the period, with growth reaching 1.5% in the third quarter.
Air Distribution revenue grew 2.1% at constant currency, despite booking growth being affected by geopolitical disruption in the Middle East from March onwards.
Revenue per booking increased 5% at constant currency, reflecting the value of Amadeus' content and distribution capabilities.
The company also reported continued commercial progress in the segment, including new agreements with airlines such as Wizz Air, further expanding the content available through the Amadeus Travel Platform.
Overall bookings fell 2.8% to 359.2 million during the first nine months of 2026.
Finally, Amadeus reported that it generated free cash flow of €1.04 billion, up 8.5% year on year, while net financial debt stood at €2.54 billion at the end of September, equivalent to one times last-twelve-month EBITDA.
