Vueling, part of the IAG Group, has unveiled its new Vueling Club loyalty programme.

Designed to offer a more flexible proposition "tailored to the travel habits of its frequent flyers".

The renewed Vueling Club, available in the coming weeks,

It will continue to allow customers to earn and redeem Avios, the shared currency used across other IAG Group partner airlines. Members will also be able to access different tiers offering exclusive benefits throughout the entire travel experience.

One of the main new features of the updated Vueling Club is the introduction of a four-tier structure - Basic, Smart, Pius and Premium, which replaces the previous two it had.

The new change allows for "loyalty to be recognised in a more gradual and structured way and makes it easier for frequent travellers to access additional benefits", according to the Spanish low-cost carrier.

The new programme retains Avios as the currency used to pay for flights and services and introduces Tier Points, which determine a customer’s level within Vueling Club.

Tier Points are earned based on spending on flights and services sold by Vueling, moving towards a model that "rewards customer value and commitment rather than just the number of flights taken".
