Virgin Blue unveils full mobile service and Blackberry app

Virgin Blue has joined forces with Mobile Travel Technologies to give passengers access to flight booking, amendments, check-in, seat maps and boarding passes on mobile devices.

As part of the development, MTT has also created a downloadable application for Blackberry devices for the Australian airline.

The application is free and allows travellers to store their itineraries, save boarding cards and send trip details to contacts.

For travellers without a Blackberry, Virgin Blue’s website has been optimised for more than 6,000 mobile devices.
