European travel software specialist Peakwork has opened a location in Majorca.

The move expands the firm’s international project team and focuses on developing partnerships with hotel suppliers and bedbanks.

Adding to the three German offices, Majorca joins Boston, Peterborough/UK, and Singapore as an international Peakwork base.

The island was chosen due to the proximity to accommodation suppliers such as Hotelbeds, OTS, W2M, Sunhotels and Jumbotours, which all have offices in Majorca and other Spanish speaking regions.

Chief executive, Ralf Usbeck, said: “The Peakwork network is connecting more and more hotel suppliers with worldwide accommodation portfolio for dynamic packaging.

“Our new colleagues in Majorca will be able to assist these customers even better.

“Majorca is a good location to find and keep new qualified colleagues with a touristic background.”
