More Thomas Cook customers are booking online now than before.
The percentage of sales booked direct on the internet with the tour operator jumped from 40% to 43% during 2016.

The change was announced at Cook’s annual general meeting on Thursday, February 9.
“This is a direct result of the work we have done to improve our web functionality,” said chief executive Peter Fankhauser.
The sales of add-on ancillaries like airline meals, seat selection and upgrades also rose 9%.
Thomas Cook reported a “solid start” to 2017, with the overall summer 2017 programme 31% sold already.
But the company said it remained “cautious” over the political and economic outlook.
Greece has now become Thomas Cook’s number one destination, with bookings up 40% this year.
Shareholders yesterday voted in favour of the payment of an £8 million dividend.
