Travelgenix teams up with Paximum to widen independents’ hotel access

Deal expands real-time hotel inventory for independents

Travelgenix has formalised a deal with Paximum to strengthen hotel access for its clients — independent agencies and tour operators. Through Paximum’s global marketplace, the platform promises a broader range of properties, sharper commercial terms and faster access to live availability. In a market where conversion hinges on search speed, content breadth and stock reliability, the move aims to bring independents closer to the technology standards long associated with larger players.

Integration with Paximum’s marketplace connects Travelgenix to a wide network of hotel suppliers and bedbanks, with real-time search and API feeds. Paximum highlights 24/7 trade support and local presence, features designed to secure access to inventory and user assistance. The goal is to smooth the path to basket and reduce out-of-stock issues.

The travel industry is digitising rapidly and automating through API connectivity. “Access to strong, competitive hotel inventory is absolutely critical for travel businesses today,” said Andy Speight, CEO of Travelgenix. “Speed, availability, and choice are key drivers of conversion, and that is exactly what this partnership delivers.” The company says it wants to bridge the gap between independents and large groups by democratising technology and supplier connectivity that have until now been hard for small firms to access, in order to improve response times, expand choice and offer more competitive pricing.

Travelgenix says it now supports more than 400 travel businesses and already works with a wide range of premium suppliers. The agreement with Paximum forms part of an ongoing strategy to expand integrations and consolidate its hotel and accommodation offering.
