Holibob launches industry-first promt-based experiences' discovery and booking system

It's now live in Google's Things to Do

Holibob, travel technology company powering tours, activities and attractions has launched an industry-first prompt-based discovery and booking system for in-destination experiences.

Rather than typing keywords into search and filtering through, now travellers tell the Holibob guide where they're going and who's coming along and it curates, shortlists and books experiences from its catalogue of more than 500,000 in a few clicks.

The system replaces keyword search and "endless" scrolling with natural conversation with prompts like "a romantic weekend with something on the water".

Travellers can compare options, choose dates and complete payment within one conversation and never need leave to a separate site or checkout.

Most experiences offer free cancellation and every booking is run by a vetted local guide.

The launch of the system lines up with Holibob's integration into Google's Things to Do, which sees it become the first conversation, prompt-based booking for the experiences sector within Google.

"Search was built for a world of ten blue links not for how people actually dream about a trip. For the first time, a traveller can describe what they want in lain language and walk away with a booking, no filters and no twenty open tabs," said Craig Everett, co-founder and CEO of Holibob.

"Bringing that into Goggle's Things to Do means curated experiences are finally a conversation, right where people plan."
