Adalte brings travel distribution platform under one roof
Travel technology provider Adalte has consolidated its digital ecosystem under a single platform as it looks to accelerate international expansion in the multi-day tours and packages market.
The Genoa-based company has made Adalte.com the central access point for its technology, marketplace and partner tools, replacing the previous separation between its corporate website and Community.Travel.
The platform enables travel companies to manage professional connections and bookings, distribute tours and packages and access Adalte’s technology, product and support services.
Adalte said the move is part of a wider strategy to create a global infrastructure connecting tour operators, DMCs, suppliers and distributors of multi-day travel product.
Existing customers have been moved to the new platform without disruption, while the tour operator console remains unchanged.
The consolidation comes as Adalte continues to expand its international supplier network.
Recent additions include Spanish DMC Julia Tour, which selected Adalte in June to support the booking and distribution of its tour portfolio to partners, and Sense of Africa, part of Tourvest Group.
Adalte said Julia Tour’s first products were live on the platform within weeks of joining, highlighting its ability to digitise and distribute complex multi-day product relatively quickly.
The company has built its platform around the specific challenges associated with multi-day tours and packages, including product creation, contracting, content, distribution and booking across multiple suppliers and markets.
Davide Galleri, chief executive officer of Adalte, said bringing its ecosystem together under one brand would provide the foundation for further international growth.
“Multi-day travel is inherently complex, particularly when businesses want to distribute product across multiple partners and international markets,” he said.
“Our role is to make the technology and connectivity behind that process much simpler.”
Galleri added that the company’s ambition was for Adalte.com to become a central point of reference for partners, bringing together technology, product, connections, updates and support.
The company said further suppliers, markets, languages and platform developments will be added as it continues to expand its marketplace and international distribution network.
