Travel Compositor's AI assistant enters new era

Firm brings AskIA to the front end

Booking engine specialist Travel Compositor, part of Travelsoft, has announced the incorporation of AskIA into the front end of its AI Trips engine.

This new capability enables travel agents to design, quote and book complete itineraries through a conversational experience, reducing the number of clicks, eliminating the uncertainty of choosing between multiple available options, and significantly reducing the time required to complete a booking.

Instead of following a traditional search process, AskIA allows users to simply describe the trip they want to take, for example, a multi-week journey through a specific destination or a holiday tailored to particular preferences. 

Based on that request, the AI generates a personalised proposal, selects every required travel service, and enables the entire booking to be completed in just three clicks.

The solution combines flights, hotels, transfers, activities, insurance, car rental, rail services, tickets and other travel products, delivering a unified booking experience through a single interaction.

AI Trips now evolves into a far more natural and intuitive trip-planning model. As part of this latest release, Travel Compositor also introduces Smart Filter, a new feature that adds intelligent filtering capabilities to the hotel and transportation results pages across all booking engines. 

This enhancement helps travellers quickly identify the most relevant options, streamlining the search process and improving the overall user experience.
