New app offers "a white-glove experience at a white-label price"
d-flo launches new TravelComms Travel App
Travel communications specialist d–flo has announced the launch of its new TravelComms Travel App, to enable its travel clients to implement “fully-customisable” and “uniquely-branded” mobile travel apps.
The new app is an “auto-scaling” and “highly extensible” solution which is underpinned by the recent acquisition of Flexitravel App.
“After being introduced to the Flexitravel App by one of our clients,” said Colin Brimson, co-founder and CEO of d-flo Limited.
“I became aware of its unique capabilities and the compelling proposition of coupling it with our TravelComms platform.
“Travel companies looking to stand out from their competitors will now be able to deliver a much richer personalisation programme to their customers.”
With Flexitravel App’s microservices and its API-first architecture, d-flo Limited will now be able to deliver fully customisable travel apps that can be automatically loaded with personalised, “relevant” content using the TravelComms platform.
“We have worked with a number of white-label travel app solutions on various client projects.
“Amongst concerns over scalability and security, there has been a continual frustration with the customer experience and content loading.”
The launch of the TravelComms Travel App is said to “fill a gap in the industry and provide a compelling proposition”, allowing companies to “harness the level of functionality and customisation of a custom-built app at the cost of implementing a white-label app”.
“Being able to provide our clients with a travel app that can be made as unique as the travel communications we deliver is very exciting.”
Brimson added: “It’s a white-glove experience at a white-label price.”
The company’s sustainability initiative that offsets carbon emission, will see the firm offset each download of the TravelComms Travel App as well.
He said: “Once again, we are proud to be delivering an industry first and helping the travel industry to deliver on their sustainability commitments.”
