Travelsoft offers Travelport's airline content to agencies via Orchestra

Integration sees Travelport’s content available across Travelsoft’s platforms

GDS and travel technology firm, Travelport, and travel technology Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company, Travelsoft, have announced the integration of Travelport’s Trip Services API platform via Orchestra, the Transport Hub across the Travelsoft Group.

Orchestra enables travel companies to manage and distribute a comprehensive portfolio of leisure travel products in real time.

Central to the Travelsoft ecosystem, which powers the Travelsoft Transport Hub, Orchestra is a shared infrastructure that aggregates airline content and distributes it across the group’s various travel platforms.

Through this integration, Travelport’s airline content, including, both traditional EDIFACT and modern NDC, is now available within Orchestra and Travel Compositor, Travelsoft’s worldwide dynamic packaging platform.

The rollout will progressively extend to the other group platforms, including airQuest, Atcore, Tigerbay, Traffics, Travel Connection Technology, as well as Travelsoft Services, the group’s consolidation solution.

As a result, Travelport will expand its reach across Europe, making its content available to more than 400 travel agencies through the Travelsoft ecosystem.

"This integration represents a strategic milestone in our European expansion," said Fred Lindgren, Vice President Sales at Travelport.

"By collaborating with Orchestra and the broader Travelsoft ecosystem, we're delivering our industry-leading NDC and traditional content to a diverse network of travel technology platforms and their agency customers across multiple markets."

“Bringing Travelport’s content into the Orchestra platform allows us to strengthen our air content offering,” said Mikel Otxandorena, VP hospitality & transport at Orchestra (part of the Travelsoft Group).

“As the foundation of our Transport Hub was built within Orchestra, it allows us to distribute enriched airline content across the group’s platforms while giving our clients access to a broader and more competitive range of airline options.”

As development has progressed, the collaboration has expanded to include post-sale servicing activities – such as exchanges, involuntary changes, and ancillary services – alongside ticketing, upsell, and multi-city booking capabilities.
