Move will enhance corporate travel connectivity

Hospitality technology specialist, Derbysoft, has announced a strategic partnership with leading UK budget hotel chain, Travelodge, to expand the hotel brand’s direct distribution capabilities and improve access to its inventory across the corporate travel ecosystem. 

Through DerbySoft’s connectivity platform, Travelodge will extend its reach to a broader network of travel management companies (TMCs) and corporate booking channels, making it easier for business travellers and travel buyers to access Travelodge properties through their preferred booking workflows. 

The partnership will provide Travelodge, which offers 47,000-plus rooms across more than 630 hotels in the UK, Republic of Ireland and Spain, with a scalable route to market, enabling greater visibility and accessibility across managed travel programs while maintaining the benefits of direct connectivity. 

By leveraging DerbySoft’s distribution infrastructure, Travelodge can streamline content delivery, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen its position within the corporate travel sector. 

It will also utilise DerbySoft’s payments and reconciliation solutions to help simplify booking, payment, and settlement processes, reducing operational complexity and creating a more seamless experience for travelers, travel managers, and hotel teams alike. 

For TMCs and corporate travel buyers, the collaboration delivers streamlined access to Travelodge content, including property imagery and detailed descriptions, through established connectivity channels, supporting booking efficiency, improved content accuracy, and a more consistent traveller experience.
