Travellers will be able to connect Bonvoy account to Spotnana profile
Spotnana deepens corporate hotel distribution with direct Marriott connection
Spotnana has struck a new direct integration with Marriott International, giving corporate travel buyers access to real-time hotel content and rates while opening the door to more personalised hotel shopping.
The connection links Spotnana directly to Marriott’s central reservation system, providing access to pricing, availability and property content and sees travellers search for individual hotel attributes and room features rather than simply selecting a property.
The integration also brings Marriott Bonvoy loyalty data further into the corporate booking experience.
Spotnana said it is the first corporate booking technology provider to offer verified Marriott Bonvoy loyalty linking, allowing travellers to connect their Bonvoy account to their Spotnana profile.
Once authenticated, Spotnana can recognise a traveller’s Bonvoy status and Marriott Bonvoy credit card holdings, as well as display their current points balance.
The technology is designed to give corporate travellers a more consistent experience between Marriott’s own channels and the corporate booking environment, including access to the same hotel imagery, room information and amenities.
Travellers will also be able to modify or cancel bookings through Spotnana without needing agent assistance, while agents can manage servicing through Spotnana’s agent desktop. Corporate negotiated rates will also be available through the connection.
Marriott chief commercial performance officer, Shannon Patterson, said the integration would help customers gain greater visibility over changes to bookings made through Marriott channels.
She highlighted Spotnana’s Reservation Delivery capability, which provides customers with real-time visibility into booking changes, saying it would help travel programmes better support travellers and manage spend.
The new infrastructure "unleashes" capabilities that will mean customers can better support their travellers and manage spend.
Spotnana powers the programme through its Travel-as-a-Service platform, enabling SMEs to book discounted Marriott accommodation alongside flights, rail and car rental through a single platform.
"Spotnana's direct integration with Marriott raises the bar for corporate travel programs by giving travellers a seamless experience from the moment they book to the end of their stay," said Hillary Dallas, head of global travel & events at Amazon.
"With clear visibility into negotiated rates, loyalty benefits, and self-service tools, travellers can more easily manage their trip wherever they are in their journey."
For Spotnana, the move comes as travel management companies and corporate travel buyers increasingly look beyond basic rate and availability aggregation towards richer hotel content, personalisation and more direct connections with suppliers.
Spotnana executive chairman and CEO, Steve Singh, said the integration would give travellers improved access to Marriott inventory and allow them to be serviced “where and how they prefer”.
