Amadeus pairs up with Anthropic for developer's access to content

Firm to make connectivity, documentation and travel content accessible via Claude

Amadeus and Anthropic have revealed its new collaboration designed to step up its Agentic AI efforts for developers and travel professionals.

It's hoped the partnership will see Amadeus make its connectivity, documentation, authentication and travel content available through a single toolkit for AI-enabled development environments.

The move is aimed at developers using Anthropic’s Claude Code, allowing them to discover Amadeus capabilities using natural language and access travel content directly within their development environment.

This collaboration also extends beyond developers, with Amadeus working to make selected applications, skills and connectivity available through a Claude Cowork plugin for travel professionals - a move said to reflect an "open approach", one that builds on real-world experimentation, with a successful Claude Enterprise pilot recently completed at Amadeus and ongoing assessments of future deployment options.

The objective is to go beyond surfacing data, enabling users to access information, conduct research, draft content, analyse data and take action across Amadeus systems in plain language, within broader AI-powered workflows.

The company stressed that the capabilities will be opened in a controlled way, with decisions, safeguards and oversight remaining with users and their organisations.
